It took 5 days, but early this morning Hughes bested Blayne Barber, Billy Horschel, Henrik Norlander and Camillo Villegas in extra holes, claiming the RSM Classic and a winner’s check of 1,080,000 USD. The win is his third as a professional (he claimed the 2013 Cape Breton Celtic Classic on PGA Tour Canada and 2016 Price Cutter Charity Championship on the Web.com Tour).
A PING player, Hughes used these sticks to collect his first PGA TOUR title:
PING G LST Driver
PING G25 Fairway Wood (3wood)
PING Rapture Driving Iron
PING S55 Irons
PING Glide Wedges
PING Scottsdale TR Piper C Putter
Titleist ProV1x (ball)
Congratulations to Mr. Hughes and his team.
