Being a Sales Associate at Cococo Chocolatiers means being all about the in-store customer experience regarding our award-winning artisanal chocolates (did we mention the staff discount?) and sustainability efforts. The Sales Associate knows the products intimately and assists our customers with general inquiries and product selection for personal consumption or for gifts, reinforcing our brand values and practices we follow that make us an environmentally and community-conscious choice.
The Retail Sales Associate role reports directly to the Retail Store Manager. This role has no supervisory or managerial authority and no direct reports. We're looking for people who have flexibility in availability and can work on weekends.
You are:
o Courteous, patient, and helpful to customers.
o Someone who builds customer relationships.
o A lover of fine chocolate and interested in food pairings.
o Organized and appreciate cleanliness.
o Someone who can accurately receive and process cash, debit, and/or credit payments.
o Confident and a team player.
o Able to multitask and manage frequent interruptions.
o Someone with superior active listening skills.
o Creative and have an eye for product placement.
o Good at public relations and promoting the brand and company to the community.
