I was BOMBARDED with many of you asking about the process. It was hard and I didn't blog about it because, well, it was a crazy time just keeping life and business going was enough. I found the process really hard, but really rewarding. My parents downsized the year before and before that, we downsized my two Nana's. There was a lot of "stuff".
We actually downsized earlier than most people do because we realized we wanted to live more simply and " our kids didn't want our stuff" they don't. I didn't document my move, but, my sister DID document my parents downsizing and some of her client's moves, and, she wrote a BOOK for you people. A dang whole book. Just for YOU.
And it's awesome.
And I kinda wrote a chapter in it. (I feel famous)
My sister, Kim Eagles, a professional organizer and expert clutter buster and her newest book, Solving The Downsizing Dilemma, will be hitting bookstore shelves soon.
Are you or your parents ready to start downsizing your stuff and your home, but are feeling lost and overwhelmed by all the “stuff” you’ve accumulated over the years?
You’re not alone!
The process of downsizing can be super stressful. Trying to decide what goes and what stays is emotionally and mentally draining. DRAINING people!!
Plus, I can guarantee you that your kids do not want all your stuff! Yet you know some of your possessions have to go to make way for your new lifestyle.
Kim solves The Downsizing Dilemma conveniently and in plain language, breaks down the downsizing process from start to finish, tells you how to maneuver through the dreaded decluttering process, reduce the overall overwhelm of getting it done, and helps keep you calm and focused every step of the way. Our dad Bob Cameron also adds his bits of wisdom on his downsizing journey throughout the book and I shares some great tips on staging your home for sale.
And as an added bonus, on June 8th you’re going to be able to purchase the Kindle version of her book for ONLY $0.99! Here’s the special link to get the Kindle at this price:
