The Bone & Biscuit Leduc is hiring! We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a sales associate.
The position requires applicants to greet, engage and serve clients in a retail store environment. The successful applicant needs to be an efficient communicator and exceptional at dealing with clients and answering questions about their pet as well as presenting effective solutions to pet-related problems. Clients of The Bone & Biscuit Leduc expect thorough and informed answers to their questions so a passion for pet nutrition and the well-being of dogs and cats is a must. The successful applicant will have a drive to further their knowledge of pet wellness to ensure every client and their pet receives the best service. Training will be provided so while direct experience is not required, a willingness to learn is.
Other requirements include:
- Comfortable interacting with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for long stretches.
- The ability to work independently.
- Sales experience and familiarity with POS and payment terminals is an asset.
- Able to work 20-30 hours a week, including some evenings and weekends.
