In the spirit of remembrance, the Assiniboine Park & Zoo is pleased to recognize all veterans, military personnel and their families by offering them free admission from Sunday, November 6 to Saturday, November 12. Complimentary tickets are available from Visitor Services staff at the Zoo entrance. Identification is required.

Visitors can also show their support by purchasing a lapel poppy at the Zoo entrance, with proceeds going to the Charleswood branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.

The Zoo also participates in the Canadian Forces Appreciation Program. Veterans, military personnel and family members who are registered with the program receive 10% off regular Zoo admission throughout the year in recognition of their service.

The Zoo is open from 9 am to 4 pm daily and from 1 pm to 4 pm on Remembrance Day, November 11.
