Freshslice Pizza's Global Headquarters is in search of an in-house litigation lawyer to work on a broad range of litigation matters, with a focus on Franchising law. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in litigation, with 2+ years of relevant experience in franchise law. They must have strong research and writing skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
The selected candidate must be familiar with all aspects of Canadian Franchise Disclosure Documents and Franchise Agreements and how they relate to provincial Supreme Court civil procedural rules and practices. Additionally, they must have a strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and legal judgment, and be able to meet deadlines effectively. This role requires a proactive self-starter who is willing and able to take on the 'first chair' legal role in the negotiation, preparation, and review of a wide range of franchise-related litigation matters. The candidate should also have a willingness and desire to learn and understand the Company's various business departments and drive results.
We offer a competitive base salary of $100,000 per year, plus a bonus potential of up to an additional $60,000. The selected candidate will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes dental care, discounted or free food, extended health care, and vision care.
