Today our staff proudly wears the Official 2022 Orange Shirt Day Design, which was designed by Geraldine Catalbas, a grade 11 student from Ponoka, Alberta.

The design depicts shoes that represent the children who died in residential schools. The shoelaces coming off into an eagle represent their freedom in the heavens and their fight through difficult times.

To top it all off, our shirts came from Dreamcatcher Promotions, a 100% Indigenous-owned company in Headingly.

We’re happy to support not only an Indigenous supplier but also one local!
