A little Hump Day Wednesday story for you. You may have noticed our Vault is named the Clifton Vault? The Clifton was a hotel owned and operated by my grandparents right across the street from Samuel's. It's where my Ireland born dad met my mom and later had their wedding reception there!
Tomorrow at Samuels we will be participating in the annual Feast for Hope. An event spearheaded by one of our own Summerside residents and friend. There are several restaurants participating ( check them out) and we will all be donating a portion of our daily sales to this cause. All proceeds go directly to the PEI division Cancer Society to support PATIENT PROGRAMS.
Sadly my two love birds lost their battles with cancer but lived life to the upmost fullest! Cancer plain and simple sucks. Any act of kindness or the patient programs out there to support along the journey mean a lot. We all have a friend, family member, or co worker....celebrate HOPE tomorrow! Make a party , a celebration with friends or co workers. Celebrate survivors and toast those no longer here in body. Eat lunch or dinner and know that you are supporting something GOOD! Cheers to making it a great day!
