Time for another #TBT! Ever hear the story about the flood at the South Surrey store in 1982? High winds and freakish high tides battered the coast that December, and sea water spilled over riverbanks, broke dikes, and inundated farmland. Mud Bay was one of the hardest hit areas. The store completely flooded and most of our stock was ruined. An emergency "flood salvage sale" of poinsettias and Chritmas trees was held in an effort to recoup some of the costs, and staff literally sold the stock off the shoulder of King George Highway. Anyone remember this event back in 1982? Comment below! #Knapps75Years #TrueSurrey
