Visual Arts Mississauga – "My idea was to keep things simple, only deal with what is externally visible
"My idea was to keep things simple, only deal with what is externally visible. These paintings are up to the moment realism—archaic, most static, but quivering in appearance. They contradict the modern world." ~ Thanks to Mike Douglas for sharing this week's ED Pick! I saw Dylan's artwork in Seattle's Experience Music Project Museum some years back and was struck by how Dylan didn't allow himself to be pigeonholed. He sang, and composed, and painted when he felt the creative urge to do so. Enjoy.
